Aditya has done his Masters in Human Resources, Masters in Economics and is a Certified Financial Planner. A prolific writer, Aditya has been regularly contributing to various business, financial and education publications. Aditya is also a Member- Editorial Board of International Family Offices Journal (Global Law & Business). Aditya has recently co-authored 2 books on Credit Research and 1 book on Global Family Offices.
Aditya is a Member- Occupational Standards Committee of the BFSI Sector Skills Council and is also a Member- Capital Markets Committee of Indian Merchants’ Chambers (IMC). Aditya is also a Mentor with some of the leading global start-up accelerators.
Mr. Navneet Munot joined SBI Funds Management as Chief Investment Officer in December 2008. He has over 23 years of rich experience in Financial Markets. In his role, Navneet is responsible for overseeing investments worth over USD 30 billion across various asset classes in mutual fund and segregated accounts.
In his previous assignment, he was the Executive Director & Head – multi –strategy boutique with Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Investment Management, he has worked as Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income and Hybrid Funds at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Navneet had been associated with the financial services business of the Birla group for over 13 years and worked in various areas such as fixed income, equities and foreign exchange.
Navneet is on the board of Indian association of Investment Professional (India society of CFA charter holders with over 1500 members). He is also co-chair of capital market committee of Indian Merchants Chamber.
Navneet is a postgraduate in Accountancy and Business Statistics and a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is also a Charter Holder of the CFA Institute and CAIA Institute. He has also done FRM.
IIFL Asset Management Business
Amit is a Co-Founder at IIFL Investment Managers and is the CEO of IIFL Asset Management business. He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 11 years of advising global institutional investors.
Amit is credited for bringing a unique touch to the asset management business with the launch of innovative funds like IIFL Special Opportunities Fund, which has created a record of sorts in terms of fund size as well as marquee deals.
He heads IIFL’s International Business with offices in New York, Houston, London, Geneva, Canada, Mauritius, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. His primary responsibility is to build Institutional and NRI HNI relationships globally for the group, which today stands at over US$4bn of assets under advisory/management.
Prior to IIFL Group, Amit has been associated with Kotak Mahindra Inc, New York, Citi Group’s Wealth Management business and IDBI Bank.
Amit is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from ICFAI and has a graduate degree in Commerce.
His expert opinions get featured in leading Indian dailies like The Economic Times and Mint besides various international publications including wire services like Bloomberg. As a renowned speaker, he has played a key role in advocating India as a key investment destination in various international meets and panel discussions of repute. Amit received ‘NRI of the Year’ Award 2016, for Asia Pacific Region.
